Adrina Wilson

Founder and CEO

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist that provides therapeutic services to individuals, and adolescents. Some of my specialties include working with individuals who are seeking support with depression, anxiety, ADHD, behavioral issues, marital conflicts, trauma, parenting, family conflict, phase of life issues, LGBT issues, grief and loss, and substance use. I have worked in county mental health, private agencies, and school based agencies which have serviced individuals from unique and diverse cultural backgrounds. I grew up in Las Vegas and started my adult life working in professional theatre’s, concert venues, and on a cruise ship designing lights and special FX. Through this career path, I learned my greatest hobby, but also realized my life work is to support people through their unique journeys. I received my masters in psychology from Antioch University of Los Angeles with an LGBT+ specialization, and a Bachelor of Arts from Western Carolina University in the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina.

Starting therapy can be one of the hardest, but most rewarding decisions you can make. My own time in therapy continues to be one of the most impactful experiences of my life and has allowed me to live my life in a way I never thought possible. In working together, we can address your past traumas and heal old wounds. We will focus on providing an avenue for you to live life in a way that is authentic and true to how you want to live. I believe in a person- centered approach because you are the foremost expert on yourself and your life. I work from an intersectional and trauma-informed perspective, and I utilize Psychodynamic Theory, Inner Child Work, and Family Systems Theory to help identify and break patterns and cycles in your life that no longer serve you.
I am an Associate Therapist with a Bachelor of Arts in Critical Race, Gender, and Sexuality Studies Cal Poly Humboldt and a Master of Social Work from the University of Washington.  I am a member of the LGBTQ+ community and have a deep passion for serving my community. I feel so lucky to live in Southern California and love swimming in the ocean, hiking with my dog, and exploring new restaurants with my spouse. I center my professional practice in social justice and anti-oppressive principles. My work is fueled by my passion for social change and a constant fight for equity for all.

I view everyone as a whole individual and will work collaboratively to find what strategies resonate best for you and your needs. You already have everything you need within yourself, and I am here to guide you back to that inner strength and knowing. I look forward to meeting you!

Jenny Rivera Cruz

Designation

Jenny Rivera-Cruz has a MSW from The University of Southern California, with emphasis on Children and Families. Jenny has an LCSW with around ten years of experience in providing psychotherapy to individuals, families, couples, and teens. Jenny has a passion to serve and empower individuals to seek and find their inner strengths to overcome trauma endured. Jenny enjoys providing/running group therapy to help individuals develop communication/ socialization skills that allows clients to learn how to express their hardships/issues as well as develop self-awareness by listening to others with similar lived experiences. Jenny has learned that individuals who have the motivation to improve their quality of life and find the courage to seek growth through vulnerability and hard work can reach their life goals and potential. Jenny continues to support, guide, and assist individuals, families, and couples by providing skills to learn how to manage depression, anxiety, PTSD, family relationship issues, self-esteem, women issues, and other mental health illness.
Jenny’s approach emphasizes the mutual development of goals for therapy and assessment/ongoing evaluation of the therapeutic approach. Jenny believes that it is important to identify all aspects of an individual’s life that impacts their well-being (physical health, support system, work/school environment as well as faith/spirituality for therapy to be successful. Jenny utilizes techniques and skills from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Psychoeducation and her all-time favorite mindfulness and relaxation. The drive to empower others to connect with their inner child has been her motto, like Thich Nhat Hanh said “the cry we hear from deep in our hearts comes from the wounded child within. Healing this inner child’s pain is the key to transforming anger, sadness, and fear.
